The 4-4 1/2# range seems to be the standard wisdom for this piece's
purposes. We talked yesterday and it's gonna be springs, adjustable
trigger, stone the mating surfaces for smooth, and a Commander style
hammer if he's in the mood and there's enough left in the budget.

This being for "everyday" carry and against the possibility of actual
combat usage it would be overkill to try to turn it into a target
