Ok, the aborted connects from a Supra modem (which had no such
trouble with the Spirit Thunder) have also been reproduced on
David Drummond's and Poe Lim's systems.  BFN.  Paul.

P.S. One other problem I didn't report, was at LEAST on the old
ROMs, the previous user of the USR Courier would always get a
dropout with his USR after being connected for an hour to his
ISP.  My connects are not long enough to see this.
