My wife feels more safe on the water than on land.  Free from creepy
crawlers and other land based animals which frequent the camp sites.
Nothing beats a sunset on the water, a full moon or a dark night on
the water.  It is beautiful.  We began doing this with the children in
1968.  It is a great family summer!
As mentioned on another echo, dont forget to freeze additional ice in
milk cartons or cool whip containers to put in your ice chest.  It
lasts longer then chipped ice or ice cubes in the ice chests for the
overnight camp outs.
Enjoy, because the pontoon boat will give you an excellent base of
operation.
