Currently there is Chimera/TAF and CAB/STiK for the 680x0 series for
web browsers. None for the 8bit. Chimera/TAF is no picnic and CAB/STiK
requires a SLIP (not CSLIP,not PPP) connection. There is no such software
for the 8 bit line at all. True you can use a shell account and the hosts
lynx if you can emulate vt100 correctly, but that is with out graphics.
Does that set a better perspective. Chris@ComputerDirect plans on an
ST internet program near the end of the year. But trust me I have seen
14.4 lynx output on a TT. There is an ftp site at toad, including a
umich.edu mirror. That does not require web-ware.
I don't see an 8 bit as a web browser, nor even an ST, They are both
too slooooow. A TT or Falcon is a possibility. Most of toads internet is
on the web...
