Good day to you, Sean Dennis. SD> If you don't understand how Ethernet works, it can be a bit worrisome to SD> see traffic when you don't expect any on your LAN. I do not worry too much about ingress here on my LAN. I got to the software in it and allowed only specific IP addresses to connect. Nobody else can, maybe I am mistaken in this regard. Set me straight. I used the 192.168.1.1 to do this, finding the IP was a bit arduous, specially my grd-son's smart phone, he could not find it on his phone, I had him try a connect and then I could see him on the AP. --- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20120216 Thunderbird/1* Origin: Fidonet Via Newsreader - http://www.easternstar.info (1:123/789.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 620 848 953 @PATH: 123/789 500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
