Nope. They were simply bigots like you. Invading from the Netherlands would
have got the US-UK forces to Berlin etc much faster but your idiots chose
to assault the siegfried line etc instead of going round it as the Germans
had done with the maginot line.

Hey no problem with that but he was just like Mark Clark & Patton &
the others who thought in vaguely Roman terms that a good campaign = a seat
in the senate or similar pol post after the war.
