If you are connected to an FTP host and haven't used it in a few hours or more, if the host has gone down or otherwise become available during that time, and if you attempt to refresh a file listing from the host with F12, version 4.79 of F for OS/2 freezes and must be killed and restarted. F claims that Ctrl-Break followed by Esc will kill just that sub-process, but that doesn't work here. -- Phil Parker -------------------------------------------- URL http://www.math.wichita.edu/~pparker/ Random quote: If at first you don't succeed, you're running about average. ---M.H.
