Ed,
EV{at}> I see the Burma Shave ads that You post in the Memories echo, and I
EV{at}> read the Ham Radio echo, the weather history echo sounds like it would
EV{at}> be of interest to me, so I will check it out.
I originally got the data from a file from the Storm Prediction Center.
Data after 1990 is PARTIAL, but fairly comprehensive before then.
EV{at}> Ya got it working O.K. all the way through Mike's BBS.
Well, I saw a message from Mike Powell, and apparently the data
"dried up"
in late July, when Synchronet crashed...and I went back to Virtual Advanced.
I redid a batchfile to process the outgoing packet, and even ran each deal
by hand to be sure that it worked. Yet, while I'm connecting to Mike's
system, nothing is transferring. So, my IREX settings may be skewed.
Daryl
... I xeroxed my watch. Now, I have time to spare.
