Some win7 computers have been changed to the non approval automatic
updates.
Here is a blip form MS:

The July 2016 update rollup for Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and
Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 was re-released on September 13, 2016 to
address an issue in one of the included updates and to improve the
overall reliability of the update rollup. Installing this update requires
a restart after installation.

Important If you use Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) or System
Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to deploy updates, you have
Automatically approve new revisions of approved updates enabled on your
WSUS or SCCM environment, and you have already deployed KB3172605
automatically when it was initially released in July 2016, this revision
will automatically deploy and require a restart after installation. You
can disable the automatic approval setting for this update rollup if you
don't intend to automatically deploy the revision of this update rollup
and its required restart. Please notice that disabling this setting would
require a manual review and approval of any revisions.
