You've notice Dell has just slashed prices again? $299 with a crummy 17"
crt you don't want, DELIVERED. I've had Optiplex PS's fail, just out of
warranty. 

My experience in the Wash DC area is that used machines, Dell or
otherwise can be had cheap.But new pricing like that above is hard
ignore, considering that for many of the above you will/may be putting
in a new DVD player or writer, and that memory will likely be skimpy,
and being older, more expensive.

That said, by all means negotiate with your local reseller for the big,
quality CRT the business he bought from didn't have room for, and
neither does the reseller.

Anyone have any experience (good, bad or indifferent) with these?  I'd
