How can that be? You have a
chemical system - life, that is
formed, and adapting to an environment through selection.

Yet that environment is NOT random. It is cyclical.

So how can you have a random system built to adapt to a cyclical one that is
driving it?

Here is the analogy I use.
Do the Miller experiment. Now repeat. Now repeat again.
Are the results totally random every time or do they have similar results with
some variants.

You can't evolve a random  chemical system built on adaptation to a non random
environment.
