Howdy! again August,
I found the packages the two 1GB DDR 400 came in.
They are Kingston ValueRAM PC3200.
One of them was made in the USA the other one was made in China.
Also I may had moved the two 500MB cards to the unused slots and put
the new RAM in the slots that I took the 500MB RAM from.
Can't remember very well what I did 11 years ago.
I also found the Mobo specs. in the papers HP supplied.
It's just general specs., not like You wrote about in Your earlier post.
The Mobo is a Asus A8N-LA that HP calls Nagami-GL8E .
I will see if I can find more info in Search Results later today.
HP's specs. says the 939 Socket on the Mobo can use a AMD Athlon 64 X2
up to 4800+ .
I don't care to replace the 3800+ CPU with a 4800+ , but if the CPU ever
fails if I can find a 4800+ I would get one for it.
