subject: Re: [OS2HW] IBM Laptop Model 610?

Can you ask your wife to request the actual IBM model number (this is a
4 digit number followed by three digits/letters - e.g. 6754-A4F (I made
that up, it's not valid as far as I know). As I don't know of an IBM
Thinkpad 610 - only the IBM 600 series. Some of the 760/765/770 systems
were newer than the 600 - they were aimed at different markets, so the
fact that the system has a higher number doesn't always mean it's a
later model.

Cheers/2
