++> Retrospection (Reachback)
Just thought I might share some bits on my own "illusions" of
reachback experiences. In working on my family history and art
probes.... (hoping it not a repeat; memory decompression code
ain't ain't aint' what it once were ...was...were!!!
In earlier days I wandered into the Egyptian experience trying to use
art as a probe (even as you use correlations of history, archeology
myth & ...chemistry). I reproduced known pieces and some reconstructions
from fragmentary remains. In doing the family history, I filled the
house with paintings of a Sicily as it would have looked to all the
family dead of a last several hundred years (my collective unconscious).
Carefully researched, they serve as my illusionary "keylets" of passing
everyday focus. From time to time "something" itches my brain to make
minor changes which I do. Many are portraits frozen in stare (at me).
The EGYPTIAN model: In reproducing an artpieces that no longer existed
in complete form, I employed some help from the artists that would have
created the originals. i.e of a primary interest, I recreated in carved
wax polished plaster that lost Kn-aten family artwork with each their
names cut into cartouche, their handing out of gold bracelets during a
festa of Aten (*). .....Ken-aten, his wife Neferti (Beauty of Beauties
of *), and their seven daughters 1. Ra-Nefer (Beauty of *), 2. Aqi-Set
aten (Spirit of *), 3. Ra-Senpaaten (Temple of *?), 4. Ank-na-aten
(Life of *), 5. Khut-n-Aten (Soul of *), 6. Maat- tenti (Truth of *),
and 7. Meriten of *). This image of the Armarna family has been
before me for some many years and awaits its moment to shine as time
bridge .....if such can be.
Some tick in my nature has need to see such questing as illusion,
(however fascinating in life-fun [petch-t-haat] options); easy to
permit only when not taken truth-serious.
COMPUTER GRAPHIC PROBING:
Graphic visualization: With the rapid advancement of computer graphics
it may becoming possible to transfer the mostly unconscious genetic
memory** to computer memory. I am thinking some on it as I would pursue
a system upgrade within the next few years. I'm thinking along the
lines of allowing my hand or heartbeat or ? to generate (free form
graphics) a base image, then using algorithms to play/tease it into
a form I might recognize (perhaps even to play the hand against the
heart). Primitive? YES but I've always found screwy efforts to "OPEN
DOORS" that were not known to even exist let alone be opened. Being
an arch skeptic of intuition search systems slows me down a some, but
also supplies some stability restraints on any over enthusiasms.
Might even have to learn a new programming language as GW BASIC has
gotten a bit "long of tooth" (like me!).
** for lack of a better term we have not yet negotiated
