Any suggestions are gladly welcomed! Davey, I have a very similar problem here. Mine is a 2yr old gigabyte GA-8IG1000 series P4 TITAN MB with Intel inside (So I can't blame AMD). I just took it apart this morning. And what do I find, but that the 12v leads on the P2 (4pin) motherboard power connector are burnt to a crisp. The leads on the MB are definitely fried a bit. But the two 12v plastic areas on the powersuppy connector are burnt and melted off. The grnd connectors are just fine. Me thinks I need a new PS and MB at this point and perhaps a new CPU. Anyone replace P2 connectors on the MB? If yes, I'd like to hear about it. -Mark Vollmer -- ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Yahoo! Groups gets a make over.
