(I replied to this before already, but just blame the codeine and my desire
to have some good traffic going...)

Hello, Carol.

12 Jan 07 13:14, you wrote to me:

I received your netmail; I'm willing to carry it if there's problems elsewhere.

I've always liked X00, but under 'Doze, ADF is the best. Of course, under
OS/2, SIO/VMODEM/VX00 is the way to go. Sadly, Ray Gwinn has disappeared,
but there's been rumors of his open sourcing SIO/VMODEM/X00...

It is not the same as a lot of menu-driven boards (TG, RG, RA, EleBBS, et
al.)-it can be a real bitch to get going (especially if you don't know how
Max works). But, Max has the advantage of being infintely customized and
it's rock-solid too.

 CS> Yup! That too!

Hey, there's got to be other choices out there besides Synchronet.

Later,
Sean
