Not to mention the fact that in 1992-3, the Senate
*Democratic* majority was so convinced of Starr's
polictical neutrality that they selected him to review
Packwood's diaries to determine which portions were
admissible.
Nor has the media pointed out that one of the attorneys
accompanying Starr to the Grand Jury is Sam Dash, the lead
attorney for Sam Ervin during the impeachment of Richard
Nixon and someone who is hardly a member of the right-wing
conspiracy.
