Oblige, by all means ......always enjoy those gifted moments
     of the ultra-conscious....

If your bout with Jung goes back to "63", you must be practicing
some secretive mysticism yourself by now.... ???

 ++> JUNG UPDATE: "INNER FATHERLAND"
==> (Just finishing the book "ARYAN CHRIST")
With some assumption of your still possible interest ???

It came to mind in revisiting J, how close and opposite
he was to Chardin ....almost as sun/moon brothers (yang/yin),
The one, Carl, reaching down into hell and back into pagan
histories to teach God an Aryan thing or two; the other, Chardin,
of equal reach, but forward and up to share our scientific futures
with heaven. Both men of (bent) genius, one of darkness and one of
light, we might enjoy such tensions of possible thought.
Even with his feud with Freud [Vienna verses Zurich] (he opting for
a COLLECTIVE Aryan unconscious and Freud opting for the PERSONAL
_scientific_ subconscious + some unsimple SemitismS), we might also
  smile into their exploratory confusions.
  ++> ....................................On with the book - - - - - -
The author sprinkles in many German words at interesting points.
Carl's strange grandfather, Karl, having renounced Catholicism and
became a "born again" pagan was a magic platform for his grandson
to "deep end". The whole family a bit bent, Carl thought his grandfather
the bastard son of Goethe, and he (Carl), even a reincarnation of Goethe.
Such terminologies as "polydaemonics" ... "transcendental physics"
"inner fatherland" the notorious "unio mystica", "God trapped in matter-
....and on many more bits that add pepper and salt to the biography.
We might even wonder at Jung's "rivers of consciousness" being in some
way akin to the Hubble-eye "rivers of galaxies" ??? Perhaps the dark
matter of space being actually a "primed" empty mind-field waiting for
new data! ........playing the imagination is fun!

  FORGOTTEN MEMORY: "cryptomnesia"
There is a great deal made of "forgotten memory" and that such memory
is mixed with "present memory" and "historical memory [genetic?]"
(spirits of the dead/collective unconscious)". These multiple
memory sources are merged and correlated and passed through a
symbolic filter mechanism to produce new thought/ideas and the
myth/allegory packages (much as you've been suggesting all along).
Great minds tend to share similar sparksss.....!
...perhaps nature practicing some clever data compression, ???

I might note that the picture of J on the back cover is one of
the 10 best photo portraits (this side of Hollywood) I've seen.
I photo copied it for my own art studies and would send you a print
if you like. It portrays THE magnificent mindFULL arrogance of
our dark Aryan angel from Mainz, at the very heightened instant
  of superior "chutzpah" .

NOTE: ..............I became aware of J some younger years
back during a period of interest in parapsychology-
                     ....through a REMARKABLE white-wicca-women.

NOTE: ARTHUR SCHOPENHAUER (S)-- ESSAY on "Spirit Seeing" (1851)
: PASSING NOTE of possible interest you've probably already read-
(Was not available or even mentioned in my library)-

...In it "S" offered the theory that all visions of future are
'allegorical' that they filter through the personal memories and
SYMBOLIC storehouse of the visionary. In addition, all such
visions of the dead (past) are visions of "once-realities" also
through symbols which he calls "retrospective second sight".....
There was mentioned that many of the philosophers dabbled in the
"unusual" but that most of the material is edited out or never
published to make it either less embarrassing to memory or more
appealing to us moderns (many references are from 19th century
sources when our collective attitude was a mite more naive).

The book also makes strong note that the rich terms of Jungian
psychoanalysis were cryptically based on largely secret experiences
(induced trance/"active imagination") ...his personal experiences
derived from and into the Greek mysteries. In 1913, during such
trancing, he was initiated into a most ancient of mystery cults...
"the Mithric Deification" "Deus Leontocephalus". Though the book
digs deep into such of his "search and discovery of being", I was
unable to follow details in the full clear as it was some alien
to my knowing experience. Though warm to the acquisition of
"knowing", self deification is still a bit strong for me. Jung
wrote so much that it would seem a lifetime effort to read and
digest him .....much of his work still private or not readily
available. (Many as notes from lectures and seminars).
