Traditional does not do it. It is just a different look html format. As
Kris and Phil have described:
webpage:
groups.yahoo.com/mygroups
at the top, click on "Go to My Email Preferences"
at the right of your email address, click "Edit"
select "Do Not Convert To HTML"
At bottom, "Save Changes"
Do this with any other email address you might have.
