   Actually, I went through my archives (which date back to September of 1994)
   and was able to piece together over 20 games completed by William Sprague.
   (By "completed", I mean the games ended for
"tactical", as opposed to
   "personal" reasons via mate, resignation, or draw.)  He had
one game where
   he called mate in 3.

   Although most of my "completed" games have been via
resignation -- such as
   the aforementioned game against you -- I did checkmate one opponent in 6(!)
   moves (a FIDO record?), and drew recently against Mark Patrick.  In this
   very group of messages I have what is, in effect, a called mate in 5.

   I know that Mark Patrick has "completed" other games.  The
odds are that any
   game carried beyond move 15 will likely be "completed".

   If you like, I can post all the "completed" games I've
collected together.
