I didn't care for it either, but that doesn't make his
action dishonorable. If his "flip-flop" were done for
personal gain, yes, that would be dishonorable. If it was
done as a part of the give and take of the parliamentary
process, well - that's what politics is about.

Exactly. And what else does one expect from a politician,

IOW, he gave up what he perceived as a losing issue in

success. Again - that *is* the essence of politics.
