Could be for the newer versions of BC++ and using Win95. I remember that
someone posted an ASM source in 80xxx echo that wrote "Hello World" in a
Window. Following instructions and using the MAKE file that was posted, I was
able to successfully assemble it from the command line, and then run it in
Windows and it worked. I never used the C Compiler or the IDE or anything.
Just TASM and TLINK. That's how I know at least BC++ 3.1 will.
Windows programming I see is a real bear. The best way I hear for BC++ 3.1 is
the OWL library, which came with my setup. Problem is, I'm still way over in
ANSI C mode and haven't gotten to the tutorials I got on C++ yet. I have to
learn C++ to do OWL.
I wouldn't even TRY to do it without OWL or even without the C compiler.
