Hey Andrew! May 25 10:44 06, Andrew Leary wrote to Michiel Broek: AL> It would be nice if Charles would fix it. What is his reason for not fixing it? Why do you suppose that is in contrast with things like irex? Personally I don't ever (never did) use things that rely on one person's whims of what any system should behave like no matter who that person is, including myself. As for irex it is far too DOS-thinky and I doubt it even behaves properly on a pure DOS platform, if that even exists anymore. Does it? I haven't seen one since I abandoned dos on my 486 for linux over a decade ago. However that never had irex or anything remotely like it way back then simply because I never subscibed to tools that won't cooperate with what others are doing and that behave themselves with what I am doing. Given the nature of DOS it wasn't a difficult decision for me to totally abandon it ... other then qedit that is. That disturbed me for awhile but I got over it.
