Yes I have heard of Tashkent, Uzbekistan. If my old memory doesn't
fail me again it is envolved in the emergeing petroleum fields that
we are all looking forward to coming to the market soon. Have they
decided how and where the pipe lines will run to get the oil to
market yet?

I am a 79 year old retired medical electronics engineer that trys to
keep the ageing mind going by exerciseing it here and on the internet.
My studying presently it limited to linux. My son loaded the SUSE 6
version on my IBM Aptiva but I don't care for it much. I have purchased
Red Hat 6 and the Caldera version to try on the old 486 I am upgradeing
with a new MADT-5 mother board and AMD K6-2/300 cpu that probably won't
get finished until summer gardening, etc. are past. What are you
studying?

It has been very hot here in the New England area also. In fact the
couple of 100 F degree days we had this past week provoked my fifth
heart attack when I made the mistake of being away from my air
conditioner for too long a period. Fortunately my wife got me to our
hospital in good time again and three days of hepren treatment and a
new arterial vasodilator, Norvasc, (besaylate salt of amiodipine, if
you are medically inclined)delayed my final adieu sweet friends again.
