Just as another data point I have s LinkSys 4 port kvm, don't know the
model off hand it is in the basement with two clone boxes and two IBM
PS/2s hooked up. If the PS/2 don't have the focus on boot the mouse and
keyboard are not there afterwards. The clone boxes are fine.
This is strictly a function of the PS/2 machines. Whether a more
expensive KVM would have the same problem I don't know. I seem to recall
that this was beaten to death a few times on the PS/2 new group.
