JR> beyond the solar system.
LA> That is very interesting. Can you tell me if this planet
LA> is close enough to us for its people (if any) to have
LA> reached the earth in say a few hundred years?
I'm not sure about the distance, but the information I beleive
is available.
JR> Biologists were not looking then but they are now, as
JR> the science progresses to a higher state of the art.
LA> What does that mean? What are you saying that biologists
LA> are now "looking at", that is relevant here?
Menaing: They are starting to now concede the possibility that
life can exist and develope on far distant planetary bodies.
JR> There is no hard evidence that aliens have ever
JR> visited the earth unless there is a conspiracy cover-up, and
JR> it is being shrouded from us.
LA> Since you sign yourself as an abductee then I really don't
LA> follow your comment here?
Knowing what you know for a fact is different than what others
beleive and know. I beleive the experience is different for each
person, but at the same time I'm amazed at the similarities
in the different stories. It's the similarities that are the
most curious to me, and probably the only factual data that exists
so far on this subject.
JR> There are indications that we have or are being
JR> visited by alien life-forms of a high intelligence based on
JR> reports which have a world wide source and a common similar
JR> description.
LA> Should I conclude from that that you "got a ride" in one
LA> of those alien space craft or were you an abductee on some
LA> earth bound vehicle?
I was not abducted, I saw the vehicle land, and then I was approached
by three aliens. I repeat! I was not abducted.
I was what is called in the UFO community "A contactee".
I was contacted by them and had a discussion with them.
I have told this story in Jack Sargeant's UFO echo and it is
in parts. It happened when I was about 11 years old. I remember the
details today very clearly. Further contact continued several years
later on different occasions. Their message was plain and simple.
JR> The mathematical probability that life exists
JR> elsewhere is too great to be able to accept the statement
JR> that you quoted as being an absolute certainty.
LA> Did you do the mathematics or can you tell me who did and
LA> how it was worked out?
It is accepted as a fact by the scientific community. Carl Sagan
was the first to issue a public statement on it.
It's based on the theory of probability.
JR> I would suggest that you open your mind up a little
JR> and think about it, and in the end I'm sure that at least
JR> you will be forced into accepting it at least as a
JR> possibility. This at least will allow you more breaking
JR> distance if you are forced to slam on the brakes, when the
JR> driver in front of you stops to look at a UFO passing by
JR> over the highway. :-) Then, at least you will live to be
JR> able to see it yourself.
LA> Thanks for your advice.
LA> Laurie
I was being humerous there! :-)
Best regards
James Root
