If someone logged into a board and acted up, their name or any information about that user went to all the other boards in the area via an areawide Sysop echo, and the user was banned from everyplace. I'm sure other popular BBSes would comply if you sent out a similar message or at least threatened this on th e user. As for blocking his IP, that's one way of doing it... and you can do a whois on that ip and see what ip range the user's ISP uses and block t hat. Maybe it's a smaller DSL provider? Or if he logs in often and the IP changes, try to segment that part of the IP range used in his area by his ISP. Just some thoughts ...
