 I think what he was trying to say was that the V.fc modem will only connect
at 14k4 to a V.34 *ONLY* modem.. Because the only protocol both the modems
have (and can use) is V.32Bis (14k4).

 My BBS, Has a Non-Rockwell Modem online but my modem supports V.fc and V.34+
