Ouch... didn't know that. Wonder if that explains why I
had such a hard time installing an 8-bit NIC into an IBM
PS/2 a number of years ago. I finally found an address for
the NIC that worked. But it took a while before I even
realized I had an address conflict.

Didn't know that either.
Man... no wonder "100% compatibility" (with anything!) is
so hard to achieve. :-) I love those statements on boxes
that say that a "100% IBM compatible" computer is required.
