Hi Vicki,
VO> That's my problem right now. I won't let myself go to the fabric
VO> warehouses until I use some of the stuff I have right now.
When we both get more caught up, we'll get together for a trip. (G)
VO> *Very* similar. I lived in the country just outside a town of 565
VO> people. And the local town had a grocery store, but we still drove the
VO> 35 miles to the 'big' store once a month.
We did that in North Carolina. Today, the base has a pretty good
commissary but I still get some things off post. I did that in Europe
too; people were surprised that the commissary didn't stock everything
I wanted. Same with the PX; I had to get a 22" zipper once & had to get
a 55cm one downtown because the PX carried only up to 20".
VO> That would be nice. I've never travelled a lot. We used to camp
VO> as a child, but nothing a long ways away.
We camped too. The furthest we ever went (from NY State was Michigan,
most trips were up to New England or as far south as North Carolina.
VO> That would be awful! I like W-M. I know a lot of people don't
VO> but I think it's a nice store.
It beats nothing! I'm glad it's there for whenever I need something not
worth going to Tucson for.
Catch you later,
Ruth
