Hidie-Ho All,
I had an opportunity to spend an hour attending the Database &
Client/Server World exposition at Chicago's Navy Pier exposition
hall today. A few simple observations:
0) No single database product seemed to dominate.
Mainframe and PC packages both well represented.
1) Gobs 'n bunches of Internet stuff.
(Web publishing; Data on the 'net, etc.)
2) Lotsa vendors dealing exclusively with Y2K.
(At least FP will recognize the year 2000)
3) I saw exactly one FoxPro related product: a training video
for Visual FP 5. That's all.
Greetings from Chi-town's lakefront, Randy Bosma
