With SLIP/PPP/whatever dialup access, you gets what you pays for. At the
moment, the fastest provider I've used [once you allow for the fact that
they currently only support V.32bis dialin] is CompuServe. It's not cheap,
but it's definitely worth the money. I spend about $300 per month on CIS,
and shopping around the other providers, I find I might be spending as much
as $700 per month using some service like OzEmail (s..l..o..w..)
