Hey ALL -
My local GTE phone service had a no installation fee special on a second 
phone line to my house.. jumped on it!  It's nice not having the main 
line tied up but I noticed a problem with how fast my supra connects...
It used to be that with the W95 dial up networking connection I would 
ALWAYS connect at 28800...so much so that I never worried about it 
anymore.  I noticed the other week that with the second line my connects 
are ALWAYS at a lower 24000.  Even with my local BBSs I only connect at 
26400...switching back to the original line I get marginally better 
service with an occasional 28800 connect...
I downloaded the new 336 flasher and installed it in my 288i and the 
same problem persists.  My question is, where do I look for a solution 
to faster connection rates?  Any and all help WILL be appreciated...
