Err, it doesn't, unless your UI #includes a .cfg file -- if you don't include 
one it only re-writes the UI area, and not the config. area.
And, the best way to handle this with Pro/32 is to (a) save your Config 
settings to an ASCII file (using Write Settings...), then (b) burn the .CFG 
file in from the command line.  Now, as long as your UI doesn't #include a 
.CFG 
file, you won't lose your settings.
