 Don't credit my PAL programming.  I'm barely passed the novice
 stage.  I think I would give credit to reliable software and
 attention to small details,  i.e. exit the ap properly, users
 cautioned against rapid shutdowns, etc.  If there's one thing I
 *can* say, all the workstation users are relatively computer
 illiterate so they're teachable and listen to instruction in
 that regard.
 Also, since there have been several power failures during that
 period, the UPS must be doin' its think OK too.
 Of course, now that I've said these things........
