Oh no doubt that an MP/R is a very usefull tool. Goes to my point about
nice easy to maintain std airliners possibly strengthened at the wing roots
etc as the best bet for most airforce tasking.

However the Nimrod Awacs was discontinued in favour of the E3 some time back.
