| subject: | Re: Meet Ozzie: a rescued cat |
From: "Phil Payne" Our bitch - Tessa - used to realise she was going to the vet before we even caught her. If the kids were arguing, she'd push between them. If anyone was ill, she wouldn't leave the bedside except to go outside - then straight back upstairs without eating. And. like another dog I heard of, she persistently licked one of my ex-wife's moles - on her forearm. She went to the doctor and he didn't even bother with a biopsy - straight out, so we never found out if it was malignant. I can't stand cats, or rather the practice of keeping them. I regard them as subsidised song-bird slaughterers - fully fed when they go out and killing for fun. I'd rather hear the dawn chorus. There are around eight cats in the surrounding houses, and we have almost silent dawns. --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
