If I'm an OS/2 ONLY system (which I am), and I make archives that I
distribute via my bbs with PKZIP/2, and people download them (who are running
ONLY DOS), they will not be able to unpack them. It's not a problem for me,
because I *CAN* pack them up with the DOS version, but that's ludicrous since
there now exists an OS/2 version.
