I've been thinking about this comment, and a comment you made previously
about Aaron running from flashcards. I'm wondering if he equates flashcards
and alphabet with schooling, and that causes him bad memories? Others here
have spoken of the time it takes kids to make the transition from school at
school to learning at home, and I am wondering if you just might want to drop
the idea of flashcards and paperwork altogether for awhile, while Aaron
adjusts? Or....
You also mentioned in another post about Aaron being tested for dyslexia and
color blindness - have you had his eyes checked at all by an optometrist? If
you did that, perhaps you could rule out any other forms of vision problems.
Though age 7 or 8 is usually where a vision problem shows up, it can also
show up earlier.
