The only quote you have regards the speed AFTER the connect.
I am talking about the incoming RINGs. And anyhow, if your
theory was correct, it would equally apply to me if I set
my terminal to 38400, go and dial someone else's BBS, it
should suddenly swap speed to 57600. It doesn't. BFN. Paul.
