Note that Cheney was hunting in Montana yesterday. If *I* were Dubya, and
*I* were getting ready to toss the Veep's oldest bestest companero to the
wolves,and he had a gun, *I*'d want him 2000 miles away too.

The interesting question, as Rummy starts thinking about his memoir, is
what it will say:

(1) I knew Iraq was a mug's game from the start, but I played the good
soldier at my CinC's request.

(2) It coulda worked, but all those bad soldiers from the JCS on down
sabotaged my Transformational Warfare Plan.

(3) The press never reported the good news, e.g. the 18.7% improvement from
2003 to 2006 in survival rates for sucking chest wounds.

(4) It was all Clinton's fault.
