RW==>I thought the outhaul pulled the foot of the sail along the 
boom...
I knew that 
RW==> tighten
RW==>the outhaul in heavy wind to flatten the sail and loosen it in light 
winds to
RW==>make a pocket....
Thanks.  I was familiar with that concept.  
My terminology was a touch off... I meant "stays"
