VH> Abstract: This study examined the contribution of the home environment
VH> to the reading achievement of 49 children and adolescents with low
VH> vision. It found that children with no books at home read less well
VH> than those with books at home, but that no other home variables were
VH> related to reading achievement. (DB)

Righty oh ! It'll be interesting to see what "low vision" was
determined to be, and whether a variable of `amount of adult
reading in view of child' was employed in any way...

Thanks again ..

Miles.
