The Lifestyle is one of the modems from the Motorola Informations Systems
Group (ISG). The designer I have spoken to (Les Brown) is in Canada, their
bbs is on the east coast of the USA, and homologation and manufacture takes
place in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Motorola ISG have an office in Sydney, and the modems are distributed by
Telesys Communications.

Occasionally Motorola people appear in comp.dcom.modems, but not in the
MOTOROLA_MODEMS echo.

However, everyone from the folk at Telesys to the Les Brown are accesible
by internet email.

I haven't run a heavy test of people dialing in to the Lifestyles, but they
work well calling out to a large number of modems, including over
conditions such as long access lines.
