When there were over a dozen BBS's in central Arkansas, there was a "user blacklist" going around as well. At one "gathering" of the now defunct C.A.S.S. group (Central Arkansas Sysops Society), a user went to apply for access to a BBS with adult related material...the Sysop...a female..."carded" him on the spot!! Word got around fast about these twits...then they wondered why they couldn't get access. Imagine their shock when they found out that word had gotten out about them!! On my BBS, and on several others I've logged into, there is a "disclaimer screen" at the start...in essence, by proceeding with logon, they agree to certain rules that the Sysop has laid down...and to "disconnct now if any of this is unacceptable".
