Mine probably do lick the soap but haven't yet blown any bubbles!
I will say that I did this as a last ditch effort one time, after doing all 
the normal stuff like qwikstop, cornstarch,flour,etc, not wanting to use a 
lit cigarette, so I called the vets and her office mgr told me about the 
oap.
