That's intersting. Gives us a better solution if the source is available
and someone interested in such things can make any changes needed.

Yep, we can't compete with UT2004. Mostly what we do is just share score
files, makes the game more intersting. I'm fond of word/puzzle games
myself. Later today I'll try one of those and see how that goes.
