I got your phone message last Sunday--sorry I didn't call back. I was
helping my sister-in-law move...(NOT fun, I can assure you!)
My new address is kathy.johnson@bird.hms.com.
BIN changed their internet provider last month, (quite suddenly) and the
address changed as a result.

Cool! Someday our bbs will live again, and I'd like to do that too
if/when we ever get it running correctly.
>Back on topic: Haven't heard/seen much about how the new babies are
>doing?????????
I haven't had a lot of time to post out here lately. I've been working
on the house, trying to get the yard ready for winter, handfeeding
babies, working at my regular job (plus some overtime), and doing
bird-show-, Oxyfresh-, or greyhound- related things as well. There just
isn't enough time in my life for everything I need to do these days!
But the babies are fine. The tiels weaned WAY early (40 days!), and
should be going to their new homes shortly. The baby Jenday is flying
already (!), and the three baby cherry-heads are doing well. The
youngest cherry is going to be HUGE--he outweighs the oldest by almost
40 grams. If it's a male, I think he may be staying here as a future
mate for Kirsche. She needs someone bigger than her to keep her in
line...
I also brought home the new bird from quarantine yesterday. She's in our
dining room, due to lack of space in the bird room. She settled in very
quickly, and already knows that Wayne will come get her out of her cage
whenever she says "hello". We heard "hello" about a hundred times last
night while trying to watch some tv... But she still needs a
name..."Spot" just doesn't fit.
