subject: How do i learn `c`

In the early 90's he wrote 2 books: Among his many books are The Art of C,
and The Craft of C(A C interpreter, Icon bases interface, TRS, Multitasking
kernal for DOS, Editor, Database, Fancy printer control etc). I particulary
like these 2 books because they contain programs you can use. They are not
just "xxx for dummies" or "learn xxx in 21 days". In
'96 he wrote Expert C(Encryption & data compression, Creating and
Integrating New Data Types, Supercharging strings, etc...). This is stuff
you can really use on the job. And at the beginning of 1998 he put out C++
From The Ground Up. Basically it is a C++ book that includes all the new
C++ standard that was just created. He has about a dozen books to his
credit. And he does have some recent stuff. I have around 6 of his books.
