Hey Ward! Apr 14 12:48 04, Ward Dossche wrote to Maurice Kinal: WD> Hmmm ... John Foreman was the producer ... (where's my ritual WD> dagger?) Ah! I didn't check that far. Never even heard of it. WD> John "Huston" however made beautiful films such as "The Africa WD> Queen", "The Maltese Falcon", "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" and WD> ... "The Man who would be King". I didn't know he made "The Maltese Falcon". The rest I knew about and, if I am not mistaken, his father had a starring role in "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre", as well as John playing a small part as a rich man that Humphrey's character begs for money from a couple of times near the beginning of the film. His father was the old prospector. A great "steenkin'" movie!!! :-) WD> He also made "Annie" ... probably needed the money then. I didn't know that either. WD> BTW, any movie with Sean Connery in it (save the James Bond stuff) is WD> quality. Even a shitty movie with Connery becomes good after all. I wouldn't quite go that far but he is a very good actor for sure and has been in some very good films. I recall one, a science fiction movie, that even he couldn't save. It was really bad I thought, Sean or no Sean.
